Growing up in Australia, the festive season has always meant sunshine! Long summer days by the beach, and lots of seafood to celebrate. It makes the festive season even more special, now we are based in Paris. The city really celebrates the magic of Christmas, and we love all the lights and decorations and activities for families. We always love choosing a Christmas tree and some new ornaments together, hanging up the decorations, playing some festive music, and going iceskating. All the little traditions that make this time of year so memorable. Oh, the boys also love opening their chocolate advent calendars each morning. We are looking forward to heading to Val d’Isère in the lead up to Christmas which will be a fun little snow adventure. It will be Velvet’s first Christmas in Paris, we are all so excited to get into the magic together as a family. It really is such a special time of year, to slow down, enjoy the moment and practice gratitude. 

Velvet has been wearing Belle Enfant since she was born, and they always hold such special memories for us, especially the lace trimmed romper. We keep ordering the next size up as she grows, and wears when we travel to warmer climates. The swaddles are also a favourite, and we always have them on hand in my bag, over the pram for shade, or for the base of her travel cot. The taupe and pink rose prints are so precious.
